How well do you know your 80/20 customers?

Updated: Sep 29, 2020

In our new reality of online sales calls and customer service check-in meetings, how well do you know your customers that would break your business if they were to fold and go to a competitor?

Often companies are caught by surprise to learn their top clients have slowly drifted away from the company over months if not years.

Could it be possible that any ONE of these apply to your top 15 customers?

1) Feel neglected, lack of engagement, lack of empathy

2) Feel that COVID-19 has been an excuse for lack of sales support

2) Have slowly begun trials of alternative solutions, technologies, services to do this job

3) Have slowly been infiltrated by your direct competitors

4) Have begun losing market share headed toward Chapter-11 bankruptcy

5) Have grown tremendously, but have now awarded you the new volume demanded

If it is even remotely POSSIBLE that just ONE or TWO of your top customers could fall into any of the aforementioned categories, WORRY is an appropriate response. In this era of too-big-to-fail CPG customers and mega-clients, the loss or major reduction of just ONE or TWO customer can spell the END of your business. Customer and channel partner DEPTH INTERVIEWS are a great way to get quick feedback from your markets that can SAVE your business, before it's too late!
